Fares

Choose the payment method that suits you best.

Cash:

You and your attendant or companion can pay with exact cash or tickets. Drivers do not sell tickets or make change, so purchase a pass or tickets before you board the bus.

Tickets:

Tickets can be purchased at our Terminals and at independent retailers throughout Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge.

Taxi:

If you take a taxi, you can pay the fare with MobilityPLUS TaxiSCRIP.

Cash fares for MobilityPLUS buses
Cash Fare (per person, per ride)	$2.50
Children under 5 with a paying customer	Free
Support persons accompanying a person with a disability	$2.50

 

Ticket fares for MobilityPLUS buses
Strip of 5 tickets	$12.50

• Children under five years of age travelling independently must pay a fare.
• Infants and children weighing less than 80 pounds/36 kilograms or under eight years of age are required to travel in an approved car booster seat.

Cash fare (per person per one-way trip within North Dumfries)	$2.50
Cash fare (per person per one-way trip within Cambridge)	$4.75
Cash fare (per person per one-way trip within Kitchener and Waterloo for medical services not available in Cambridge)	$7.00

 

Kiwanis Transit - Wellesley, Wilmot & Woolwich townships
Cash fare (per person per one-way trip within one township)	$2.50
