All Grand River Transit employees and security personnel are prepared to help in times of trouble. They can be easily identified by their uniforms.
If you call Grand River Transit, staff will always state at the start of the call that they work with GRT.
Flag us down or call 519-585-7555; TTY 519-575-4608.
If you need assistance, ask the operator to help. They will lower the bus floor or the ramp to make boarding easier for you.
If you are on the bus and require assistance, go to the bus operator immediately. He/she will call the proper authorities to help.
At a terminal or designated waiting area, simply flag down security personnel. They will be on the property at various locations. You can also go to the ticket counter for assistance.
If you are at a bus stop and need help, but it is not an emergency, wait for the bus and inform the operator. If it is an emergency, call the police and inform them of the situation or call a close family member to help.
In other non-emergency situations, call our customer service line at 519-585-7555 and say "Customer Service."
