Charter a Bus

A chartered bus is the most economical way of moving a group around Waterloo Region. If  you are planning a graduation, wedding or other special event in Cambridge, Kitchener or Waterloo, an experienced driver at the wheel means a more relaxed ride for guests.

Convenient, comfortable and safe

GRT  buses are air-conditioned, with  large touring-style tinted windows, a public announcement system and two-way radios.

Our low-floor buses, which have no steps to climb, offer a seating capacity of 35 to 40 passengers. Total capacity (seated and standing)  is 60 passengers.

The driver is able to lower the front of the bus to curb level and put down a ramp to the curb. This makes boarding easier for everyone, especially people with mobility aids, shopping carts and strollers.

Economical rate

GRT will work with you on the most reasonable, convenient arrangement to meet your needs. Please remember our buses can only travel within Waterloo Region.

Charter rate: $110 per hour plus HST (two hours minimum). A 50-per-cent deposit is required at the time of booking (refundable if booking is cancelled at least 10 days in advance).  For more information, call 519-585-7555.

Buses are available for charter at the following times:

• Monday to Friday: 9 a..m. - 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
• Saturdays: 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.
• Sundays / Holidays: 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. (9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. in Cambridge)
