How to pay your fare

If you pay with cash:

  • You must have the exact fare. Drivers do not sell tickets or make change.
  • Place your exact cash fare in the farebox when you board the bus.  Fareboxes accept any combination of bills and coins.  Request a transfer if you wish to continue your trip on another bus.  It is valid for 90 minutes, and is your proof of payment when you wish to board another bus.

If you pay with a ticket:

  • Place your ticket in the farebox when you board the bus and have a seat.

If you pay with a pass:

  • Show your pass to the operator and have a seat. Do not place your pass in the farebox. Your pass is valid for the month shown on the front of the pass.

Transfers

If you pay with a transfer:

  • Check the expiration time at the top of your transfer, you may board until that time.
  • Give your transfer to the operator and have a seat.

Fares are subject to change without notice.
