Veterans' Transit Pass

Regional Council has approved a Veterans' Transit Pass program as a gesture of respect for their personal sacrifice and commitment to our community and to Canada through service in the Armed Forces.

Canadian veterans age 65 and over are eligible to apply for a lifetime GRT pass for unlimited use of the transit system in Waterloo Region.

Please allow 10 to 12 working days for processing. Veterans will receive a phone call to notify them of their eligibility for a pass.
