The iXpress route is designed to transport passengers between south Cambridge and north Waterloo along the fastest, most efficient route. There are 14 stations along the iXpress route, including existing terminals at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, Charles Street Transit Terminal and Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener, and Cambridge Centre and the Ainslie Street Transit Terminal in Cambridge.
The 14 stations are marked with iXpress signs.
Following are typical weekday morning rush hour travel times between iXpress stations. To calculate your time, find the station you are leaving on the left. Then find the station you wish to travel to along the top. The corresponding square lets you know how long that trip should take.
The iXpress stations connect existing GRT routes, walking and cycling. Digital signs in the new-style shelters display the actual arrival time of the next bus. Select stations also have map displays, bike racks and bike lockers.
Walking routes to key iXpress stations were improved and additional links to the Regional Cycling Network will be provided. All GRT buses now have bike racks, so walking, cycling and transit can be easily combined.

Yes, all iXpress buses are low-floor and wheelchair-accessible.
A Global Positioning System (GPS) tracks each bus so digital signs at iXpress stops can display actual arrival times. iXpress buses also travel more efficiently using transit priority signals which detect an approaching iXpress bus and either extend a green light or shorten a red.
