Service animals that accompany passengers with disabilities, such as guide dogs, are welcome at all public areas of the Grand River Transit system.

GRT offers a specialized service on small bus-type vehicles for mobility-impaired individuals. You may be eligible for MobilityPLUS if you meet any of the following requirements:
GRT encourages the use of conventional transit when possible. All Cambridge buses and over 80% of buses serving the Kitchener-Waterloo area are the low-floor accessibility model, which do not have steps and offer a gentle-incline ramp for people using mobility devices. You will recognize these buses by the wheelchair symbol displayed on the front and sides.
