A terminal is a major transit hub served by several bus routes. Grand River Transit terminals are conveniently located throughout Waterloo region.
Grand River Transit has two central terminals, one in Kitchener, the other in Cambridge. Both are close to a variety of services. Six satellite terminals are located at shopping malls in Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.

Moving Towards Smoke-Free
Grand River Transit is moving towards a smoke-free environment at its terminals, in accordance with Regional Public Transit By-Law 05-055.
Effective January 2, 2013 smoking is not permitted at the Ainslie Street and Charles Street transit terminals outside of designated smoking areas.
Violators are subject to removal from the property and/or a maximum fine of $2000.00.
