Family Day Pass now available for the winter break

It just got easier to explore Waterloo Region with the whole family this winter break! Now you can use the Family Day Pass any day from Dec. 24 – Jan. 8 for unlimited travel on GRT buses and ION trains with the whole family.

A family can be one or two adults and up to four children (17 years and younger).

 Purchasing the Family Day Pass

To purchase a Family Day Pass, select the "day pass" option on the fare vending machine, or visit GRT customer service.

The day pass is activated the first time you tap your EasyGO fare card on the farebox. You will be able to tap the card unlimited times for the rest of that calendar day.

Note: if you have a valid monthly pass on your card, a day pass will not activate; you will need to purchase a separate card to load day passes.
