University of Waterloo station

The University of Waterloo station will provide easy access for students, faculty and staff at the University’s main campus. The station is located between Engineering 5 and Davis Centre buildings on campus, running along the Waterloo Spur and next to Ring Road.

Station Highlights

  • Serves northbound and southbound passengers.
  • Provides easy access to the Laurel Trail for cyclists and pedestrians, as well as the Northdale neighbourhood.
  • Connects passengers with businesses and services along University Avenue.
  • Also connects to GO Transit and other inter-city services.

Bus connections

  • GRT will be constructing a new transit plaza at University of Waterloo Station.
  • Current connections to 201, 9, 13, 19, 31, GO Transit, and intercity buses.
