Affordable Transit Program (ATP)
The Affordable Transit Program offers a 48% discount on the price of GRT fare products. Anyone living with low income in the Region of Waterloo may be eligible for ATP.
ATP replaces the Transit for Reduced Income Program (TRIP) and the Transit Study program products.

Ontario Works Transit Affordability Pass (TAP)
The Ontario Works Transit Affordability Pass Program (TAP) may be available to Ontario Works Adult participants who:
- attend St. Louis School on a full time basis working toward a grade 12 diploma
- are working towards their GED on a full time basis
- Enrolled in an Ontario Works / Employment Ontario employment program
The GRT adult monthly pass is provided at no cost and is good for unlimited rides on GRT buses and ION light rail within the month.
Note: Students and seniors, part time attendants at St Louis School, or dependents/dependent adults completing an extra semester after Grade 12 are not eligible for this program.
