Call 519-585-7555 to check whether your item has been turned into lost and found before going to pick it up.
- Items left on ION light rail are delivered to the Customer Service Centre at 105 King St. E. in Kitchener on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Items left on buses in Kitchener or Waterloo will be taken to GRT's Customer Service Centre in Kitchener.
- Items left on buses in Cambridge will be taken to Ainslie Street Terminal.
- If you lose an item on a bus that travels between KW and Cambridge, your item may be in the lost and found at either location.
Items can be picked up from customer service during business hours.
Claim lost items quickly
GRT has limited space to store lost items.
- Lost bikes and electronics will be held for four weeks, and then donated.
- Items such as mittens, hats, umbrellas and books are kept for 1-2 weeks, and then donated to a local charity.
- Government or legal documentation will be held for four weeks, and then mailed to the appropriate government office or legal department.
ID is required
Be prepared to show identification when picking up a lost item. You must be able to describe a lost item in detail. Items must be claimed by the owner. Lost items will not be given to third parties.
