Government of Canada, Province of Ontario and Region of Waterloo invest in Waterloo Region transit
Today the Government of Canada, Province of Ontario and Region of Waterloo announced $291 million in funding for transit in Waterloo Region.
The investment will support construction of the Kitchener Central Transit Hub, the purchase of 126 new hybrid buses, 23 new MobilityPLUS buses, and improvements to pedestrian infrastructure to make it easier to access transit.
