Specialized transit services for township residents
MobilityPLUS provides specialized door-to-door service to residents of North Dumfries needing transportation to the North Dumfries and Cambridge areas. Learn about eligibility and complete the MobilityPLUS North Dumfries application form.
Eligible customers may travel within these times:
- Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Sunday and statutory holidays: no service on these days
Booking or cancelling rides
Either your pick-up or drop-off address must be a North Dumfries township address.To book a ride or cancel a trip booked for a future day, call 519-744-2241 during booking hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 7 a.m. - 10:15 p.m.
- Sunday: 8:30 a.m. - 10:15 p.m.
Trips can be booked seven days in advance and must be booked at least one business day ahead of the trip. Read about our cancellation and no-show policy.
To book rides, please have the following information available:
- Your name and MobilityPLUS I.D. number
- The date you require transportation
- Your exact pick-up address
- Your exact drop-off address
- The time you wish to be picked up and the time you want to arrive at your destination
- The time you want to return
- Whether you will be accompanied by a support person or guest
- What mobility device (if any) will be used
Be ready at the accessible door of your location at the beginning of your 30-minute pick-up window.
