Media and filming requests

If you are filming, whether for a personal project, school assignment or a business, you must have permission from Grand River Transit to show GRT buses or logos in the film.

Permission must also be obtained if any images of GRT property will be printed in books or promotional pamphlets.

You will be asked to complete an authorization form, detailing what the film or book is about and the reason images of GRT property would be needed.

For more information on filming, please fill out the GRT customer feedback form. Select Bus, then select Service and Website/Social Media when completing the form.

Members of the media

If you are a member of the media and would like to speak with someone immediately regarding a news story related to GRT, you may call the customer service centre at 519-585-7555 or email media@regionofwaterloo.ca.

Note: All customer issues must be routed through our customer service centre. Customer issues that come through communication channels intended for the media may be delayed.
