Managing your card
Load your card without an account |
If you choose not to register your card, you can add fare products to it without an account.
It may take up to 24-48 hours for your transaction to complete. After 24-48 hours have passed, products will appear on your card the next time it is tapped on a farebox. You'll hear a special tone when your card is updated. You are responsible for paying any fares during this time period. |
Create an account |
If you have a regular EasyGO fare card, you can register your card by creating an online account. This protects your card if it is lost or stolen.
Your card is now registered to your account. |
Name or rename a card |
If your card was registered for you by customer service staff, it will not have a name. You can name your card, or change the name of a card.
|
Set a default card and see your balance on the home page |
Setting a default card will display the card's balance on the home page.
|
View the fare products on your card |
|
Check your card balance and history, and print receipts |
|
Accepted payment method |
For online purchases, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debit, and Debit Mastercard as payment methods. Choose ‘Credit card’ when using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Visa Debit, and Debit Mastercard.
|
Add fare products |
Note: It may take up to 24-48 hours for your fare products to appear on your card. After 24-48 hours have passed, products will appear on your card the next time it is tapped on a farebox. You'll hear a special tone when your card is updated. You are responsible for paying any fares during this time period. Why does it take 24-48 hours? See FAQ #15. Note that day passes cannot currently be loaded online. |
Add a credit card to your account |
You can keep your credit card information on file to make it quicker to purchase fare products. You'll need to have a credit card saved to your account to set up an autoload of stored value or autorenewal of your monthly pass.
|
Set up an autoload of stored value |
Your card will automatically be topped up when the stored value on your card drops below $10.
You must have a credit card saved to your account to set up an autoload.
When your card is tapped on the farebox and the stored value is added to your card, you'll hear a special tone. |
Set up an autorenew for your monthly pass |
The next month's pass will be automatically added to your card before the first day of that month. Don't add duplicate passes! You can only set up autorenew when you are purchasing your monthly pass. If you've already purchased this month's pass, wait until next month to set up your autorenew. You must have a credit card saved to your account to set up an autorenew.
Your pass will be loaded on the 25th of the month. When your card is tapped on the farebox and the next month's pass is added to your card, you'll hear a special tone. |
Cancel an autoload or autorenew |
|
Re-start a dormant autoload |
If the system tries several times to charge your credit card and isn't able to, your autoload will go dormant. To re-start the autoload:
|
Block your card |
If your card is lost or stolen, you can block it so that it can't be used. Blocking is permanent; once your card is blocked, it cannot be unblocked or used again. Any remaining stored value or passes can be transferred to a new card by visiting GRT customer service. Do not remove the blocked card from your account, or products cannot be transferred. It can take up to 24-48 hours for the block to take effect. GRT is not responsible for any use of your card before the block takes effect.
If you have an autoload or autorenew on your account, remember to cancel it.
|
Add another card to your account |
If you have more than one card, you can add them to your account. Note: This only works for regular EasyGO fare cards.
|
Remove a card from your account |
Removing a card will unlink it from your account. You can still use any stored value or monthly passes loaded on the card, but any autoload or autorenew set up for the card will be cancelled.
Note: You cannot remove a concession card from your account online. To remove a concession card from your account, please visit GRT customer service. |
Edit your account details or payment info |
You can change your name, address, password and payment information by going to "Edit your account/payment info".
