Paying your fare on the bus

To pay with cash on the bus, insert coins one at a time into the coin slot on the farebox. When you have paid the full fare, you will hear a ding and the farebox will display "Thank you." The farebox does not take pennies or bills and does not make change.

To pay with a bill, insert it in the payment tube beside the farebox. You will not get change when you pay with a bill.

If you need a transfer, wait for the transfer button screen to turn blue. Press the black button to print a transfer. The transfer is good for unlimited trips within 120 minutes.

There are two types of fareboxes on GRT buses. To scan the transfer, hold the QR code face down to the transfer scanner.
