If you think you had cash value on your old card, please contact TravelWise@regionofwaterloo.ca once you get your new card and share both the old and new card serial numbers. Program administrators will work with GRT Fares to review and transfer any value from your old card to your new card.

Corporate Pass Eligibility Review

Grand River Transit (GRT) and TravelWise completes a yearly review with companies participating in the TravelWise Corporate Pass Program. Companies review their company-specific Corporate Pass accounts to make sure account holders are still employed and therefore eligible for the Corporate Pass program.

Cards that are no longer linked to a an eligible company or have inaccurate/incomplete contact information are deactivated. All impacted customers are sent notifications prior to deactivation.

If your card is no longer working, it may have been deactivated as part of the annual review.

If you no longer work for a company participating in TravelWise, you will need to purchase a regular GRT fare card. A regular fare card can be purchased at any GRT fare vending machine or online. There is a $5 fee for a card, and a $10 minimum load for stored value online. At customer service and fare vending machines, the minimum load is $0.05.

If you think you had cash value on your old card, please contact TravelWise@regionofwaterloo.ca once you get your new card and share both the old and new card serial numbers. Program administrators will work with GRT Fares to review and transfer any value from your old card to your new card.
